We’re just three days away from my grand entrance into the world of partial lung-breathers, but before we get into that, let’s make your day better with some random, fun facts you didn’t know you needed and now you know:

  1. Bananas are berries, but strawberries aren’t. Mind blown, right? Somewhere, a banana is living its best life as the surprising hero of the fruit bowl. And strawberries are bitter.

  2. Wombat poop is cube-shaped. Yep, these furry little creatures produce poop that won’t roll away—handy for building wombat outhouses, I guess?

  3. Turtles can breathe through their butts. File that under “Things I’ll Never Need to Know, But I’m Glad I Do.” Nature is truly full of surprises. (Look up the sea cucumber!)

  4. A group of flamingos is called a “flamboyance.” Life goals: To live so fabulously that when people see you coming, they say, “Here comes a flamboyance!”

  5. Sloths can take up to a month to digest one meal. They really know how to take life slow. Meanwhile, I can inhale an entire mixed berry pie in 10 minutes. Different strokes, I guess.

  6. There are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on Earth. That’s a nice thought when I need a little perspective. I’m just one tiny human with a big surgery ahead, and your love and friendship shines as bright as a star!

Your messages and support have been like a cozy blanket. Keep sending the good vibes, jokes, and maybe some good Netflix recommendations.

So, here’s to the countdown, to making hospital gowns a fashion statement, and to whatever bizarre flavor of Jell-O they serve post-op. (Betting on lime—it’s always lime, right?)

Catch you on the flip side!
